JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A First Coast man is using his talent and passion for photography to help Haiti.
Ezra Marcos offered a free 15 minute photo shoot to anyone willing to donate to the Yele Foundation or UNICEF.
"This was a chance for me to give more than I can give myself," he said.
Emily and Greg Holland are newlyweds. They said they couldn't pass up the offer to get a professional photo together, while helping Haiti.
"It's just such a tragic situation and to be able to connect in some small way is important," said Emily Holland.
Ezra Marcos said he came up with the idea out of the blue. He said he wanted to help Haiti, but didn't have the money to donate. He said what he does have is time and talent.
"It's not really giving up my time. I guess I am doing something constructive with my time," he said.
To ensure his clients are confident with where their donation is going, each customer gets an envelope that is addressed and stamped to either UNICEF or the Yele Foundation. The rest he said is up to them.
"It is their responsibility to mail it, so we're kind of using the honor system," said Ezra Marcos.
