JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Nine-year-old Sydney Feagle is on a mission to collect money for leukemia research, but she has a unique way of doing it.
Feagle is collecting pennies for leukemia. In a year, she's raised $5,400, but she said her goal is to reach $1 million.
The young girl's effort began after her best friend passed away from leukemia. Feagle's mom says her daughter's selfless act doesn't surprise her.
"She is the most giving child I have ever met and [I'm] not just saying that being her parent, but she's first to want to help everybody," she says.
To help Feagle reach her goal contact The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. When you call let them know you'd like to make the contribution under the name Sydney Feagle.
