MARIETTA, Ga. (AP) -- Police in Atlanta's northwestern suburbs are searching for suspects in a deadly hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian.
Marietta police say the collision occurred shortly after 3 a.m. Friday on North Marietta Parkway between Wallace Road and Interstate 75 in Marietta. They say they're looking for a 2007-2009 four door Kia Spectra, either a hatchback or coupe, with damage to the front of the passenger side.
Authorities say an initial investigation found that a 20-year-old man was walking west on North Marietta Parkway in the far right turn lane when he was struck from behind by an unknown vehicle, which left the scene of the crash.
The man was taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
