Murder suspect, Andrew Jackson Carter, dies in Miami car crash

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- (UPDATE: 12/17/13 8:04 p.m.)  Jacksonville Murder suspect, Andrew Jackson Carter died during a police chase in Miami, Fla. According to a Jacksonville Sheriff's Office press release, the suspect died from injuries caused by the crash.

Carter, 22, is wanted for the murder of Craig James Brown, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

Police said the murder happened on December 15 in the 6000 block of Cranberry Lane. 

Carter has an active warrant for murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon for his arrest.
