JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A local woman said on the 50th anniversary of John F. Kennedy's assassination, she's keeping rare drawings of the 35th president a little closer.
"They're really priceless," said Katherine Small.
Small found six drawings, all very detailed, in the attic of a St. Petersburg home she bought in 1973. As a JFK fan, she said she was amazed.
"It was unbelievable," Small said. "It was exciting."
Small's kept the pictures in a folder, in their original condition. Now, now on the 50th anniversary of JFK's death, she said she's ready to share them.
"I want to take them and put them where they will be appreciated more," Small said.
Small's talked with several artists, even museums. There's no final word on where the drawings will end up, or even if they'll ever leave her home.
"I don't want them to go but I want to see everybody enjoy these pictures," she said.
