JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Foundational Financial Group based in Jacksonville is looking to hire more than a dozen employees. That's welcome news for mortgage loan officer Cynthia Hanna who had been struggling to make ends meet.

"I have experience, I'm great with people, I build relationships with people but I couldn't get hired," says Hanna who was hired last month

Hanna has more than 10 years experience in the mortgage industry, but the past few years has been tough as she jumped from job to job in the mortgage industry through no fault of her own.

That is, until Foundation Financial Group in Jacksonville hired her last month. Now she's back dialing for customers instead of a job. "The person who interviewed me was just really honest. She's my manager now. I was really impressed."

Hanna is among the newest contingent of hires at Foundation Financial Group. Last year, INC Magazine named it one of America's fastest growing private companies.  Right now the company is hiring 10 mortgage loan officers, six management trainees, two insurance agents and a tax adviser.

"What we're looking for is a blue collar work ethic, great attitudes, ability to work in a fast pace team, and a belief in the right vision and doing things the right way," says Foundation Financial CEO Mark Boyer

In 2011, Foundation Financial Group expanded from its core mortgage business into insurance, tax and retirement planning.   This year the company wants to open 20 new branches nationwide.

"We were able to grow by 89 percent last year so replicating that again this year is going to take care of itself," says Boyer.  The mortgage division is the biggest division at Foundation Financial but the insurance division is the fastest growing.

Foundation Financial Group hires many workers with no experience and then trains them. The starting wage? "Entry level salaries are in the 35, 40, 45, 50 thousand dollar ranges and we then give people endless opportunities to grow from there."

Despite the past few tumultuous years, Hanna is confident she'll grow with this company.

"I know the promotions are there. So I really feel that if I commit and I'm a hard worker then I will fall into those shoes," said Hanna.
