ORANGE PARK, Fla. -- Ask Ridgeview High teacher Teresa Yancey how capable her students with autism can be. She'll tell you they are gems, if you get to know them. And now they're helping us raise money for the Apple Project to get a free dental clinic built.

The clinic would be for low income, uninsured families on the First Coast.

The clinic would serve 6,000 patients right away, primarily from Duval County, but people from any First Coast county would be welcome, if they can't find resources near their own homes.

Yancey's students are selling "Fun Pops" at 25 cents each and then eventually they'll sell hot chocolate to help raise funds.

Yancey said she knows people on our First Coast desperately need free dental care. She said some can't even get jobs because they're missing teeth.

Hooray for the support at Ridgeview High in Clay County!

If you'd like to help, remember the Weaver Foundation is matching donations up to $100,000.
