Donald Smith, 56, is accused of abducting Perrywinkle from a Walmart in Jacksonville
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The man accused of abducting 8-year-old Cherish Perrywinkle showed in court Tuesday morning.
Donald Smith, 56, appeared for a pretrial hearing. Two pretrial court dates has scheduled for December 3 and 16.

Smith, a convicted sex offender, has pleaded not guilty to the slaying, kidnapping and sexual battery of Perrywinkle. On September 4, Smith's attorney, Assistant Public Defender Fred Gazaleh, announced Smith waived his right to a speedy trial.
