JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Fourth of July traffic is expected to increase nearly five percent this week, according to AAA.
Since the holiday falls in the middle of the work week, it creates unpredictable traffic for those on the road.
The Florida Highway Patrol has enhanced their patrols during the holiday. Drivers are encouraged to use extra caution on the roadways through the rest of the week.
If you've had too much to drink, you can dial 1-800-AAA-HELP for a free ride home. The company will give you a ride and two your vehicle home.
