JACKSONVILLE, FL -- The attorney representing Ronald Cummings says there have been no findings of child abuse against the father of the missing girl.
Ronald Cummings is the father of Haleigh Cummings, the 5-year-old girl who disappeared the night of February 9 when she went to bed at her home in Satsuma.
Kimball & Snider, P.A., the firm which is handling legal matters for Ronald Cummings, released a statement saying DCF's "investigation is closed with no factual finding of abuse against Ronald Cummings."
The firm says Haleigh's brother, Ronald Cummings Jr., will continue to live with his father, and that Mr. Cummings will take parenting classes with Misty Croslin Cummings, the woman who put Haleigh to bed the night the she vanished.
The couple married about a month after Haleigh disappeared.
