Anyone that's seen the Monster World Rally Team member's earlier videos knows he's one of the most talented drivers in the world. With San Francisco as the backdrop for Block's latest installment, he takes advantage of just about all the landmarks; from the trolley, to the Financial District, and even The Bay Bridge.
"San Francisco was absolutely amazing for Gymkhana," said Block. "It's such a unique location for this kind of driving and allowed me to do some things that I never thought I'd ever be able to incorporate into one of my Gymkhana videos, like jumping a table top or doing a jump drift! I'm stoked with how this project turned out."
His ride of choice: a Ford Fiesta HFHV, which stands for Hybrid Function Hoon Vehicle. This ridiculously cool custom is capable of as much as 600 horsepower and 665 pound-feet of torque for extreme drifting.
Block and his peeps can swap just about anything from the tires to suspension to engine mapping to get everything just so.
Gymkhana Five starts out a little slow but at about a minute-and-a-half into the video, Block begins letting loose on the mayhem that's become his trademark.
Once you finish watching, you'll probably be hungry for more. Not to worry, here are links to to a few of his previous installments:
