JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- With the First Coast on tap for some beautiful weekend weather, here is a list of events going on this weekend.


JACKSONVILLE FARMERS MARKET: Open every day of the year, dawn to dusk, save up to 70% or more on NE Florida's largest & fresh selection of local, ethnic, and specialty produce, agricultural and other food products. It's free to attend. The farmer's market runs this Saturday from 7 a.m. Through 7 p.m.

BEAST MODE BATTLE: If you're a CrossFitter in the Jacksonville area, they want to know are you a beast? The battle goes down at the Jacksonville Equestrian Center off Normandy Blvd. Saturday starting at 8 a.m. Athletes compete in a series of four WODs that are set up in a circuit format. Athletes are assigned a Flight Time and do not stop moving until they have completed all stations of the competition. There is no down time in between events. The athlete must dig deep and get into "Beast Mode" for the duration of their 60 minute flight.

5TH ANNUAL OLD FLORIDA HARVEST FESTIVAL-SOUTHERN STYLE: It is Muscadine time! Join the Log Cabin Winery in Satsuma for the annual Harvest Festival Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with live entertainment including the Columbian Folkloric Dancers, musicians Mickey Click & Charles Coe, the Putnam County K-9 Club and much, much more! Enjoy grape stomping, food, wine and beer. After our Muscadine Cookoff Competition, local chefs will conduct a chef demonstration.

26TH ANNUAL "ROLLIN' ON THE RIVER" CAR, TRUCK, AND MOTORCYCLE SHOW: The 26th Annual "Rollin' on the River" Car, Truck & Motorcycle Show is taking over the Jacksonville Landing from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. Saturday. The event will feature 50/50 drawing, door prizes, DJ Lon Greenwood and special appearance by Ronald McDonald.

INTERGALACTIC BEAD & JEWELRY SHOW: The bead and jewelry show takes place at the UNF University Arena Saturday from 10 a.m. To 5 p.m. At the Intergalactic show you will find a spectacular array of precious and semi- precious gemstone beads, sterling silver, unique findings, fantastic freshwater pearls, beautiful hand blown glass beads, vintage beads, crystals, delicas and so much more. SUMMERTIME IN THE CITY: Summertime in the City - North Florida's Premier Annual Break dancing Competition. The grand prize for the contest is $1,000 cash and is donated by sponsors in exchange for promotional support, keeping the event free and open to the community Saturday from 3 p.m. - 8 p.m. At the Jacksonville Landing.

NICKELODEON'S THE FRESH BEAT BAND: This foursome teaches young kids about music appreciation while introducing subjects like melody, rhythm and tempo.The show is set for Saturday, August 25, 2012, 5:30 p.m. At the St. Augustine Ampitheatre. Tickets cost $29.50-$39.50. Q&A WITH DISNEY FILM DIRECTOR FROM JACKSONVILLE: Come to this Q&A with Disney Film Director and legend George Scribner on Saturday from 6 p.m. To 7:30 p.m. At Underbelly off Bay Street downtown. Ask about directing a feature film, the world of animation, being an Imagineer (think NASA for Disney), or threading together the work of some of the worlds most famous actors and artists. A fun night that gives you the opportunity to meet people from the film, animation and entertainment world. It's $10 to attend.

TIJUANA FLATS SUMMER BEACH RUN: The five-mile evening run is Saturday, leaving the Sea Walk Pavilion off First Street at 7 p.m. It's $30 for the five-mile or $12 for the one-mile race. The 48th running of Florida's oldest running event promises to be the best ever! This event is rich in history and is well known for its post race celebration. Stick around after the race and enjoy the evening. This will be a great evening and fun for the whole family.

SHOW SOME HEART: The 2nd annual Show Some HeART Fundraiser is a night of dog-inspired art to benefit the Golden Retrievers of G.R.E.A.T. Rescue. It's Saturday at LIT Downtown at 7 p.m. Local artists have contributed numerous dog-inspired pieces that will be available for sale in a silent auction along with gift certificates, dog goodie baskets and much more. BABY LOVES DISCO FAMILY DANCE PARTY: Bring your family out to the dance party for kids and families, Baby Loves Disco!
