Heading into Tuesday's Dancing With the Stars results show, Bristol Palin was once again at the bottom of the all-star pack with a low score of 22.5. Closest to her moving up the leaderboard were Kirstie Alley and Drew Lachey, tied with 24.
Would this be Bristol's big exit?
And who else would be saying farewell in the double elimination? After all, we've been surprised by the unpredictable public vote before.
Right off the bat, hosts Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke-Charvet told Melissa Rycroft, Gilles Marini and Emmitt Smith that they were all were safe. No surprises there.
Kirstie Alley and partner Maks Chmerkovskiy were told they were in jeopardy.
Taking a break from the results: Disney star Kyle Massey and pro dancer Lacey Schwimmer returned to the ballroom to perform, while musician Frankie Moreno sang and played a mean piano.
Next, Shawn Johnson and Apolo Anton Ohno were told they were safe.
(Did you hear Tom Bergeron when he seemed to forget Brooke's name and tossed it to her saying, "Carrie Ann," as in judge Carrie Ann Inaba? Oops!)
Brooke got an odd look on her face and turned to Drew Lachey to tell him he and partner Anna Trebuskaya are in jeopardy.
Bergeron told Kelly Monaco she was safe.
Time for the first elimination. Would it be Drew or Kirstie?
Season 2 champ Drew Lachey.
"I can honestly say I would not change a thing," Drew said of his experience on the show. "Everybody questioned why I would come back. I came back because this is fun. I had an amazing partner." Tom Bergeron gave his "buddy" a hug, while the crowd cheered them.
The dance styles for next week were then revealed. Each couple had 10 seconds to pick a dance for another team.
Here's how it went:
Bristol and Mark picked for Bollywood style for Gilles and Peta.
Kirstie and Maks, who Brooke casually mentioned were "safe," picked disco for Sabrina and Louis.
Helio and Chelsie picked Mambo for Shawn and Derek.
Kelly and Val picked Bolero for Emmitt and Cheryl.
Melissa and Tony picked Hip Hop for Apolo and Karina.
Apolo and Karina picked Jitterbug for Melissa and Tony.
Emmitt and Cheryl picked Contemporary for Kelly and Val.
Shawn and Derek picked Broadway for Helio and Chelsie.
Sabrina and Louis picked Charleston for Kirstie and Maks.
Bristol and Mark got Rock and Roll.
But one celeb would not be dancing their chosen dance. Someone was still going home.
First, tap dancer Joshua Johnson tore up the ballroom to New York, New York. And duo Karmin performed their hit, Brokenhearted.
And finally, the second elimination.
Bristol and her partner, USA TODAY blogger Mark Ballas, were safe!
Who was going to get the boot -- race car driver Helio Castroneves or Cheetah Girl Sabrina Bryan?
Helio Castroneves. Aw.
He thanked the racing league for letting him take time off to participate, his family, America and partner Chelsie Hightower. "I couldn't be happier," he said. "Thank you."
