ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- The St. Augustine city commission is taking another swing at the future of the mini golf course at the base of the Bridge of Lions.
Commissioners are asking if Bay Front Golf is the best use of that property on the bay and they want the public's input about what to do again.
A few months ago, there were public hearings on the issue and the majority of people said they wanted the golf course -- which has been there since the 1949 -- to stay.
"I just found out that they're thinking about closing this place down, I
won't let them, they're not allowed to," Corey Zywics told First Coast News at the time.
