LONDON -- A social media backlash is booming across the United Kingdom after OK magazine published the cover story "Kate's Post Baby Weight Loss Regime" days after the Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to Prince George Alexander Louis.
The magazine's cover states that it talked to her trainer who is quoted by OK as saying "she's super fit -- her stomach will shrink back."
British TV presenter Katy Hill called for moms to boycott the magazine on Twitter.
The Guardian is reporting that OK magazine has apologized for the cover.
"Kate is one of the great beauties of our age and OK! readers love her," a magazine spokeswoman told The Guardian. "Like the rest of the world, we were very moved by her radiance as she and William introduced the Prince of Cambridge to the world. We would not dream of being critical of her appearance. If that was misunderstood on our cover it was not intended."
