Notice images appearing in your Twitter feed suddenly got bigger? It's part of the social network's plan they say will make the service more "visual."
The company has pushed an update to its web client and mobile apps that displays photos and videos more prominently. Whenever a user sees a photo or video from Vine, they can quickly view the image or play the clip directly from their feed.
"These rich Tweets can bring your followers closer to what's happening, and make them feel like they are right there with you," reads a statement on Twitter's blog. "We want to make it easier for everyone to experience those moments on Twitter."
For users who don't like the change, there's no way to turn off the visual previews on Twitter's website. However, users can opt to turn this off on mobile app by going into settings.
