Katie Couric's syndicated daytime talk show will end production after its second season concludes in June.
Couric and Disney-ABC made a joint announcement today regarding the decision.
"While production will continue on Katie through June 2014, we've mutually agreed that there will not be a third season of the show," the statement said. "We're very proud of everyone's contributions to making Katie the No. 1 new syndicated talk show of 2012-2013, and we look forward to the rest of the season."
The cancellation of the talk show, which turned in disappointing ratings despite key time slots, was expected. Katie averaged 2.3 million viewers during the first full week of December.
Yahoo announced last month that Couric would join the tech company as its global anchor.
