NEW YORK (AP) - The stock market bounced back Tuesday, following a surge in U.S. home prices and signs of recovery in Europe's economy. Gains were also helped along by strong earnings reports.
The Dow ended Tuesday 99.22 points higher at 13,979, erasing a large part of its loss from Monday.
The S&P 500 gained over 15 points to 1,511 and the Nasdaq was up 40 points to 3,172.
