PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. -- Ronald Cummings says he was targeted by police so that they could question him about the disappearance of his daughter, Haleigh.
Cummings and his ex-wife Misty Croslin, and her brother were arrested by police and charged with trafficking in prescription pills.
Our news partner, the Florida Times-Union spoke with Cummings from his one man cell over the phone.
Investigators say the two cases are not connected.
Detectives involved in the Haleigh case say they were kept in the dark about the drug case against Cummings and the other people arrested in the case.
