Charged with making terror threats towards children
BRADFORD COUNTY, Fla. -- A Bradford County man has been charged with making terroristic threats towards children.
The Executive Office of Governor Rick Scott contacted the Bradford County Sheriff's Office to report that a man contacted them and made threats to shoot at children in a neighborhood in their area.
Deputies went out to investigate and when they arrived at James Fields' home the 57-year-old told them he has made similar threats before to shoot neighborhood children.
Fields was immediately arrested and taken to the Bradford County Jail.
This isn't Fields' first time being in trouble. According to the Bradford County Sheriff's Office, law enforcement has had contact with Fields for various other reasons, including arrests for Aggravated Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer and Resisting Arrest.
