JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office has made arrests in three separate cases.
JSO announced Tuesday that it has made arrests in two cold cases from the late 1990s and an arrest in an attempted kidnapping case from January.
Michael Williams has been arrested in the 1999 murder of Andrea Clements and Michael Franklin was arrested for the 1998 murder of Michael Bouey. JSO determined that Williams and Franklin were suspects through DNA matching.
JSO was able to close the cold cases with help from a grant it received in 2011.
Michael Lourcey, 26, is now behind bars in an attempted kidnapping and aggravated battery that took place in January near Timberlin Park Boulevard.
Lourcey is also charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and armed sexual battery in a March 14 incident.
