JACKSONVILLE, Fla.-- A woman woke up to a man opening a window to her home, just before he fired shots at her.
The suspect allegedly opened a window to the woman's home on the 1500 block of E 24th Street around 1:45 a.m. Wednesday morning, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
The victim got out of bed, started running and the suspect fired four shots, hitting the victim in the leg. She is in stable condition at UF Health Jacksonville.
The suspect allegedly fled on foot and is currently being sought by JSO.
The woman was the only person in the home at the time of the shooting. Police are investigating the crime as a robbery with injuries.
