JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A man was shot in his Westside home early Friday morning.
The victim was shot in the neck after two men allegedly broke into his Schindler Crossing home, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office robbery Det. Michael N. Padgett.
Two suspects allegedly broke into the home in the 6800 block of Zamora Court, according to the victim. However, JSO did not find evidence of forced entry at this point in the investigation.
According to the victim, the suspects were masked and robbed him in addition to shooting him in the neck with what appeared to be a small semi-automatic handgun.
The victim is in good condition at UF Health Jacksonville.
