FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. -- A Palm Coast man was shot on Nov 4 in a case of a drug deal gone wrong.
Trevor Blumenfeld, 19, was found at the front door of his mother's home on Llovera Place bleeding severely from his gunshot wounds, according to detectives with the Flagler County Sheriff's Office.
Blumenfeld was flown to Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach where he underwent surgery. He is now in stable condition.
Deputies arrested and charged Mathew Leslie Smith, 18, with attempted felony murder and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
The detectives named Smith as the person who fired several shots at Blumenfeld hitting him once in the right arm with the bullet passing through his arm and into his chest.
Matthew D. Morris, 20, is charged with accessory to aggravated battery. The two minors who allegedly participated in this crime were also charged in this case.
According to the police reports, one minor was charged with principal to aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and the other minor was charged with accessory to aggravated battery.
The minor charged with principal to aggravated battery with a deadly weapon surrendered Nov 15 after being on the run.
Morris turned himself in at the Flagler County Detention Facility and is being held on $20,000 bond.
Smith was arrested and is being held at the Flagler County Detention Facility on $200,000 bond.
Both minors are in custody is being held at the Juvenile Justice facility in Daytona Beach.
