Attempted bank robbery suspect wanted

YULEE, Fla. -- The Nassau County Sheriff's Office is searching for a man who attempted to rob Southeastern Bank in Hilliard.

The man identified by witnesses as Randall Rockwell Woodard, 42,  approached a teller's window and demanded money Thursday afternoon.

According to police, Woodard reached in to grab some money that was on the counter under a tape dispenser but the teller snatched the money back away from the suspect.

The Woodard ran out of the bank and got on a red mountain bicycle and was last seen traveling south on Pecan Street.

Officials said no weapons were used during this incident.

Nassau County Sheriff's deputies and other law enforcement agencies searched the area but did not find Woodard.
