Florida Public Housing Gets $85.5 Million in Stimulus Funds

WASHINGTON -- Public housing authorities in Florida will receive $85.5 million in grants as part of the federal stimulus package. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development grants were awarded to 82 housing authorities throughout the state, including the Jacksonville Housing Authority in Duval County, which received $5.3 million.
