WASHINGTON, DC -- Regional airliners have come under the Congressional spotlight following the investigation of a fatal commuter crash that killed 50 people in Buffalo last February.
Members of Congress were said to be stunned by the salaries of the pilots of Continental Connection Flight 3407, employees of small commuter airline Colgan Air, Inc.
Lawmakers are looking at whether the issue of low pay and the long hours logged by pilots is widespread and a potential safety risk.
