Uniforms will be required at some Duval County schools
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- As the tax-free holiday weekend begins, we put the three big box stores to the test.
Using the supply list for a fourth-grader at S. Bryan Jennings Elementary, we went shopping at Target, Kmart and Walmart.
The lowest cost was Walmart, coming in around $16 for all the supplies on the list.
Next was Target, checking out around $20.
In last place was Kmart, costing us almost $28 for the same supplies. Another issue we faced at Kmart: their school supplies are split into different section in the store.
The tax free shopping weekend starts Friday and continues through Sunday.
