JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- John E. Ford K-8 School will host a meeting for parents and the community to learn more about the school's possible boundary change, and to possibly make the school a dedicated magnet school.

The meeting will take place Thursday, September 20 at 6 p.m.

Hosted by the Honorable Betty Burney, chairman of the Duval County School Board and the Honorable Paula D. Wright, Board member for District 4, the meeting will give parents and community members the opportunity to learn about the transition of the school becoming a magnet school and also to ask questions.

The meeting will take place at the school, which is located at 1137 Cleveland St.
