ORANGE PARK, Fla. -- This week we are spotlighting Lori Studenski at Andromeda Pre-School in Orange Park. She has been there for 33 years.
Studenski got into teaching after she was laid off from a job with the airlines, but she says as soon as she started working with children she knew she had found her calling.
Now 33 years later, she is enjoying each day she gets with her students.
"You have to have a lot of patience and love for the kids and they give unconditional love right back," tells Studenski. "What is really a blessing is I am having students from the past now bring their children here. It is just so neat to see that."
She is currently teaching VPK 4 and 5 year olds and she works hard to keep her teachings really creative. One tip for other teachers, Studenski says she gets a lot of ideas from Pinterest for projects, arts and crafts.
Some good news for upcoming students, Studenski says she doesn't plan on retiring anytime soon!
So for her dedication and creativity, Lori Studenski at Andromeda Pre-School is our Teacher of the Week.
