JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Anna Ceballos a fifth grader at Crown Point Elementary. Anna's teachers and classmates say she is a "straight-A" student with a big heart.
"I would always pair her with somebody who maybe was having a difficult day or was struggling that week whether it was academics or things at home," says former teacher Brad Sevier. "She would always be able to listen and try to relate to those students and be able to build them up. She's just an incredible student."
Friend and classmate, Isabel Scott, says Anna works hard, but never hesitates to help someone in need."She's right on top of everything. She does everything. She knows what to do."
Anna says she thinks it's important to help others and stay optimistic, "I always try to keep a happy spirit because if I'm happy, maybe it'll make them happy as well."
Anna also serves as one of the school's safety patrols, which are chosen based on good behavior and academics. Outside of the classroom, Anna says she loves to dance.
