WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Congressman Allen West says he'll remain a conservative voice, whatever the outcome of his race against Patrick Murphy.
Appearing on "Kilmeade and Friends" on Fox News Radio on Thursday, West says he's pressing forward with legal action in the race to ensure the electoral process remains transparent and all votes are counted.
He says "we look forward to achieving victory," but regardless, "our voice is going to remain strong."
West's campaign is due to make its first court appearance later Thursday on its request to impound ballots and voting machines in Palm Beach County.
Murphy holds a 2,456-vote lead in the race and calls West's actions "desperate." The Democrat was planning his first stop on a "thank you" tour.
