(AP) -- Jurors deliberated about three hours before finding a Lakeland man guilty of manslaughter in the 2009 starving death of his infant daughter.

The jury also on Wednesday found 30-year-old Chauncey Gardner guilty of two related crimes, aggravated child abuse and aggravated manslaughter of a child. He faces up to 120 years in prison.

The baby was five months old when she died. According to a police report, Gardner and the baby's mother, Tivasha Logan, said didn't know they'd been feeding the baby an improper ration of powered formula to water.

Logan is serving a life sentence after being found guilty of first-degree murder and aggravated manslaughter of a child.

The Ledger of Lakeland  reports prosecutors said in closing arguments the baby was "wasting away" in a "long, drawn-out process."
