HOLLY HILL, Fla. - Police in Holly Hill are trying to locate a man who may be delusional and may be armed.

David Davis, 62, was last seen leaving his apartment on Oleander Avenue May 28 and his roommate reported him missing last Friday.

As police investigated, they found videos on Davis' computer where he refers to himself as Jesus or God.

Davis canceled his cellphone and police said because he may have a gun and ammunition, they're concerned.

He has been treated for mental health issues in the past and only recently moved to the area.

Ginnette Brown said Davis lived with her and her husband for two months. She said Davis seemed normal, until almost three weeks ago, when he vanished and left all of his stuff at her home. Brown went to police, and then searched Davis' room, where she found the videos.

"He says that he is God, and that he's been walking with God since 2007. When I saw that, I said, 'OK, there's something that's not right,'" said Brown.

Brown said she also found the box to a gun and bullets in his room. According to police, Davis bought the gun at a private show on May 25, and they believe he has it with him when he left Brown's home.

"I'm very worried (of) what he could do to somebody. He's schizophrenic. He has a gun. he could hurt himself or he could hurt somebody," said Brown.
