ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. -- A Gainesville man was arrested Monday after he made multiple attempts to coerce a female into his vehicle in recent months.

Ernesto Boada, 52, was arrested after the most recent incident on May 31 at a bus stop near 600 N.W. 75th Stree in Gainesville.

According to the Alachua County Sheriff's office, Boada drove past the bus stop, turned around, and approached a female who was waiting for a bus.

Boada obstructed traffic and ordered the female to "get in", according to police. The female declined and Boada drove away.

Over the past six months, according to ACSO, Boada has contacted the same female victim on ten different occasions and attempted to get her into his vehicle.

The Sheriff's Office has received information related to Boada involving similar incidents in the area, as well as in nearby areas of southwest Gainesville.

It is believed that there may be other unreported incidents involving this suspect.

Boada has been driving a 2005, green, Toyota Scion.

Boada was booked into the Alachua County Jail and has been charged with Stalking and possession of drug without prescription.

If anyone has information related to this incident or a similar incident, please contact Detective Jayson Francis or Detective Randy Enos by calling (352) 955-1818 or Crime Stoppers at (352)372-STOP.
