JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Closing arguments are history, with a jury now deliberating the fate of George Zimmerman, the Sanford man accused of second-degree murder in the death of Trayvon Martin.

The high-profile murder trial is in the spotlight as the six-woman jury must decide if the neighborhood watch volunteer broke the law in an altercation that resulted in the teenager's death.

"Either way, it goes we are going to learn something," said Phillip Countryman from a barber's chair in Arlington.

The Jacksonville man said he's followed the trial and believes it's a cut and dry case.

"I just hope we get this right this time," said Countryman.

Vendrick Dunbar makes a living cutting hair and listening to customers. He said the Zimmerman trial has been on people's minds.

"I'm not with violence at all. I hope everything ends peacefully. I do hope the justice is served I hope the justice system gets it right," said Dunbar.

The Southern Christian Leadership Conference said no matter the outcome of the trial, this is an opportunity for positive change.

The civil rights group is telling its membership to speak with raised voices, not with raised hands.

The SCLC this week made a request of the FBI for an investigation of Zimmerman violating Martin's civil rights.
