SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. -- Shellie Zimmerman will be required to serve one year probation after taking a plea deal on perjury charges against her.
Zimmerman pleaded guilty to a lesser perjury charge.
Prosecutors said George Zimmerman's wife lied at her husband's bond hearing in April 2012, when she testified under oath that the couple was broke.
Officials said they obtained official copies of the Zimmerman's financial records that showed Shellie Zimmerman transferred more than $74,000 from George Zimmerman's account to her account between April 16-19.
Between April 16-17, more than $47,000 was transferred from George Zimmerman's bank account to his sister's bank account, according to documents.
Documents show the day George Zimmerman was released from jail on bond, Shellie Zimmerman transferred more than $85,500 from her account back to George Zimmerman's bank account.
