ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- An Orange County deputy suffered an arm injury during a scuffle while on duty on Wednesday.
Officials said the deputy was checking out a drug tip when he was injured during the scuffle in the area of Volusia Drive near Hoffner Avenue and South Goldenrod Road.
The injury is not considered life-threatening and one person is in custody, according to authorities.
Investigators said they are searching for other people involved in the incident.
No other details were immediately known.
Originally reports were that the deputy was stabbed. Now officials said the deputy was injured.
