EUSTIS, Fla. - One person was taken to a hospital after a small plane crashed Thursday morning in Eustis.
Authorities said the motorized hang glider-type aircraft crashed in the area of Eustis Airport Road.
Lake County deputies said the call came in at about 8:30 a.m.
The only person in the aircraft was a man in his 40s. He was flown to Orlando Regional Medical Center in stable condition.
The FAA was notified of the crash and gave approval for the plane to be removed.
Officials said the plane crashed due to engine problems.
