LEESBURG, Fla. -- Deputies in Lake County found an active one-pot methamphetamine lab in a backpack inside a Leesburg home.
Authorities said they were called to a home on Pala-Verda Avenue about a possible meth lab.

When investigators arrived, a strong chemical odor was found coming from the home.
During a search of the home, the active lab was found in the backpack, as well as chemicals used to produce meth. Forty grams of meth oil was also discovered.
Deputies arrested Lori Short, Timothy Jones and Austin Russell. They are charged with trafficking in meth and manufacturing of meth.
A fourth person, Ricky Miller, showed up at the home as deputies arrived and was arrested on a violation of probation warrant.
