GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. -- The death certificate of a Glynn County Commissioner found dead in the Frederica River in December has now been signed by the county coroner.
The State Medical Examiner in Savannah ruled Tom Sublett's death a suicide.
His family's attorney tells First Coast News they have 30 days from the time the death certificate was signed to decide if they will request an inquest to try to dispute the suicide ruling
The coroner says Sublett drowned after being shot in the head. His hands were tied in front of him.
