FLEMING ISLAND, Fla. -- Residents in Clay County's Fleming Island now have a new option for emergency care. The Baptist/Wolfson Children's Emergency Center opens May 1st.
The emergency care facility will be open 24 hours a day, every day of the week. It will also have child-specific equipment and imaging capabilities along with a Lifeflight helipad.
The center will be staffed with physicians affiliated with Wolfsons Children's Hospital.
The emergency center is located on U.S.- 17 and Village Square Parkway.
