JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- It's actually required by law when President Obama signed it as part of the health care bill in 2010.

According to the health care bill, if you have more than 20 locations, you need to include calorie counts. But restaurants didn't have to change their menus immediately. However, Starbucks is the next to do so.

A regular shot of espresso has 5 calories, as do most of your brewed coffees. A grande sweetened iced coffee with 2 percent milk is 120 calories and a grande skinny mocha is 140 calories.

Some items are exempt from the calorie counts, including specials on the menu less than 60 days.

Also, restaurants are required to have other nutritional information available in the store.
