JACKSONVILLE, FL -- Ever worn your pajamas to church? Some women at a Northside church had a pink pajama party.
Why the giant sleepover for adults? At The Sanctuary at Mt. Calvary the ladies decided taking care of themselves doesn't have to be dull.
The women danced, exercised and hooped it up at a fashion show--all in their pink pj's.
You've probably guessed by now the pink represents the fight against breast cancer.
Organizers shared Buddy Check 12 kits with everyone to encourage women to do self exams and get mammograms.
They also formed Buddy teams to remind each other to check on the 12th of every month.
In between lots of laughter the women got serious about a variety of health topics.
Church members say it was a great way to bridge all ages.
