By Jeannie Blaylock First Coast News JACKSONVILLE, FL -- Talk about teaching kids how to be compassionate. Give credit to PV-PV/Rawlings Elementary in St. Johns County. The students there have just donated more than 450 bears to our new Buddy Bears project! We're collecting new bears for chemo patients. As for the lemons? Well, enter The Bear Den and you'll see! Just click on the video button to watch the Ponte Vedra students and other folks around the First Coast reaching out to help. You can still donate new bears. We've already started giving out hundreds per week at chemo units. Drop off locations are: any Moe's Southwest Grill, First Coast News studios, Talbots clothing stores. We have a new batch of posters in to publicize your own bear drive. They're free. You can pick them up at the TV station or we'll mail them to you for free. Just email
Jeannie Blaylock. It's important to put "bear" on the subject line. We don't have a total yet but it's going to be impressive!
