More than 35,000 Buddy Bears were collected and cancer patients are loving them. Thanks to everyone who donated. It's all part of the fight against cancer so today don't forget to do your self exam and bug your buddy. When you're doing those self exams, don't forget to look for any changes on the outside of your breast, such as a red spot that won't heal. The most common sign of breast cancer, though, is a hard lump inside. Call your doctor if you find something unusual. Call Baptist Health at (904)202-CARE and we'll mail you a Buddy Check 12 kit for free. This year, we're celebrating the 15th anniversary of Buddy Check 12. Tonight at 6 p.m., meet Deborah, a woman from St. Augustine. She says her mom found breast cancer doing Buddy Check but she stays in her room and won't come out except to take the cat out. We'll see what a bear can do.
