JACKSONVILLE, FL -- The event draws thousands to the World Golf Village. It also raises money for Buddy Check 12.
This year's Riding Into History was the 8th year of local motorcycle enthusiasts helping us with our fight against breast cancer.
Chairman Walt Brown presented a check for $30,000. The money will go to educating women about early detection of breast cancer through Jeannie Blaylock's Buddy Check 12 and partner, Baptist Medical Center.
Brown says over the years, Riding Into History has given Buddy Check 12 more than $140,000.
Riding Into History started on a small scale and has grown to a huge event with publicity around the world.
This next year's theme will be racing bikes. Riding Into History 2008 will be in May.
