JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A man burglarizing Timucuan Elementary School was caught after he ran away and left four laptops in a bag at the school.'
School police responded to multiple burglar alarms at Timucuan Elementary shortly after 6am Saturday morning and as they approached a portable a suspect was inside. He fled on foot out the back door. A short time later two JSO officers saw the suspect walking out of the woods.
He fled on foot again but was tazed behind a residence on Catoma Street and immediately taken into custody. Officer J.A. Carter found a bag inside the portable near the front door that had four laptops inside.
Brandon Jackson, 21, was charged with burglary and resisting arrest without violence. He was taken to St. Vincent's Hospital.
