Bradford County Animal Control Shelter evacuated after flood, supplies needed

BRADFORD COUNTY, Fla. -- Flooding from Tropical Storm Debby caused the evacuation of the Bradford County Animal Control shelter on Monday.

Five animals drowned and lost their lives. All surviving animals were moved to the Bradford County Fairgrounds this morning.

The Animal Rescue & Adoption Agency's Facebook page says supplies such as blankets, sheets, towels, wire crates/kennels, zip ties, bleach, plastic spray bottle, electric fans and extension cords are needed.

Supplies may be dropped off at Pleasant Point Animal Hospital, 14019 Mt. Pleasant Rd., Jacksonville, 32204.
