JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The American Legion Riders Post 283 in Arlington held the 5th Annual Poker Run Saturday to benefit PedsCare, a pediatric hospice program for children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.
The charity event raised $15,000 for PedsCare.
The event kicked off early Saturday morning after breakfast was served to more than 200 participants. 400 riders took part in the Poker Run according to American Legion Riders spokesperson Stacy Mccormack.
The ride continued until 6 p.m., after stopping at five different locations through out Jacksonville and the surrounding area.
The event also included a silent auction.
